14.04.020 Sewer service charges.2
A. Effective March 1, 2021, and thereafter until December 31, 2021, service charges for the city of Everett sewer system are hereby fixed as follows:
1. Single-family residence: eighty dollars ninety cents per month.
(The monthly charge includes surface water quality protection and enhancement and the current state utility tax.)
2. For other than single-family residence (multiple-family residence, commercial, and industrial users, etc.) the rate shall be computed in accordance with the following formula:
Sewer services charge per month equals eight dollars ninety-nine cents per one hundred cubic feet of metered water consumption.
(The monthly charge includes surface water quality protection and enhancement and the current state utility tax.)
The minimum monthly charge regardless of usage shall be eighty dollars ninety cents per month.
3. Septage volume fees: $0.2717 per gallon of discharge.
B. Effective January 1, 2022, and thereafter until December 31, 2022, service charges for the city of Everett sewer system are hereby fixed as follows:
1. Single-family residence: eighty-three dollars twenty-two cents per month.
(The monthly charge includes surface water quality protection and enhancement and the current state utility tax.)
2. For other than single-family residence (multiple-family residence, commercial, and industrial users, etc.) the rate shall be computed in accordance with the following formula:
Sewer services charge per month equals nine dollars twenty-five cents per one hundred cubic feet of metered water consumption.
(The monthly charge includes surface water quality protection and enhancement and the current state utility tax.)
The minimum monthly charge regardless of usage shall be eighty-three dollars twenty-two cents per month.
3. Septage volume fees: $0.2779 per gallon of discharge.
C. Effective January 1, 2023, and thereafter until December 31, 2023, service charges for the city of Everett sewer system are hereby fixed as follows:
1. Single-family residence: eighty-seven dollars fifty-three cents per month.
(The monthly charge includes surface water quality protection and enhancement and the current state utility tax.)
2. For other than single-family residence (multiple-family residence, commercial, and industrial users, etc.) the rate shall be computed in accordance with the following formula:
Sewer services charge per month equals $9.725 per one hundred cubic feet of metered water consumption.

The minimum monthly charge regardless of usage shall be eighty-seven dollars fifty-three cents cents per month.
3. Septage volume fees: $0.2862 per gallon of discharge.
D. Effective January 1, 2024, and thereafter until superseded by a new rate ordinance, service charges for the city of Everett sewer system are hereby fixed as follows:
1. Single-family residence: ninety-two dollars twelve cents per month.
(The monthly charge includes surface water quality protection and enhancement and the current state utility tax.)
2. For other than single-family residence (multiple-family residence, commercial, and industrial users, etc.) the rate shall be computed in accordance with the following formula:
Sewer services charge per month equals $10.236 per one hundred cubic feet of metered water consumption.

The minimum monthly charge regardless of usage shall be ninety-two dollars twelve cents per month.
