Exemptions to the minimum requirements for new and redevelopment are provided in the Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington.

In addition to those exemptions, project sites, or portions of project sites, that potentially contribute stormwater to the city’s latest designated combined sewer system (as set forth in EMC 14.08.040(B)) shall not be subject to this chapter. The combined sewer system routes stormwater for treatment at the publicly owned treatment works. Requirements for detention and flow control are determined by evaluating the capacity of the combined sewer system as set forth in Chapter 14.08 EMC. (Ord. 3880-22 § 4 (Exh. A), 2022.)
