There is created and established a board of review (board of appeals), hereinafter referred to as the “board,” for the purpose of determining the suitable alternate materials, alternate types and methods of construction regarding the following codes:

A. Uniform Building Code as adopted and now and hereafter amended by the city council;

B. Uniform Mechanical Code as adopted and now and hereafter amended by the city council;

C. Uniform Fire Code as adopted and now and hereafter amended by the city council;

D. Uniform Plumbing Code as adopted and now and hereafter amended by the city council;

E. National Electrical Code and Department of Labor and Industries Rules for Electrical Construction as adopted and now and hereafter amended by the city council;

F. The provisions of Ordinance No. 4321 as set forth in Chapter 16.52*, as adopted and hereafter amended by the city council, relating to the construction of all piers, wharves, bulkhead structures and similar facilities built adjacent to or over water, bayshores and waterways within the city;

G. Washington State Energy Code and the Washington State Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality Code as adopted and now and hereafter amended by the city council. (Ord. 2337-98 § 1, 1998; Ord. 351-75 § 1, 1975.)
