The solid waste advisory committee shall consist of:

A. Four members representing business in the city, with at least one such member representing retail/commercial business and one member representing small businesses: one of whose term shall be initially for two years and thereafter for a term of six years, one of whose term shall be for four years and thereafter for a term of six years, and two of whose term shall be for six years.

B. Four community members at large: one of whose term shall be initially for two years and thereafter for a term of six years, one of whose term shall be for four years and thereafter for a term of six years, and two of whose term shall be for six years.

C. Three members who shall be representatives of the waste management industry; provided, that no less than one such person be a representative of the recycling industry: one of whose term shall initially be for two years and thereafter for a term of six years, one of whose term shall be for four years and thereafter for a term of six years, and one of whose term shall be for six years.

D. Two members who are representatives of citizen organizations whose concern is the natural environment for terms of six years each.

E. One member who shall be a representative of a city neighborhood organization for a term of six years.

F. One member who shall be a representative of K-12 education for a term of six years.

G. One member who shall be a representative of the Snohomish County labor council for a term of six years.

H. One member who shall be a representative of hospitals and/or medical clinics for a term of six years. (Ord. 1642-89 § 2, 1989.)
