The emergency management executive committee shall appoint an emergency management committee to carry out the provisions of the city of Everett integrated emergency management program, provide staff support to the director of emergency management and the emergency management executive committee in the development, implementation and maintenance of any emergency management plans, and to staff the emergency operations center and perform any other necessary functions during any emergency or disaster. The committee shall consist of city department directors and key city personnel as are designated in the comprehensive emergency management plan and approved by the mayor. The director of emergency management shall chair the committee. (Ord. 2811-04 § 6, 2004.)
