2.30.040 Director’s duties.

Under the supervision of the mayor, the director of the office of neighborhoods shall manage the office of neighborhoods in conformance with the city’s personnel policies, ordinances, city charter and perform the following functions:
A. Provide staff support to the council of neighborhoods;
B. Establish, maintain and provide staff support and technical assistance to existing and newly created neighborhoods;
C. Manage the preparation of the proposed annual budget of the office of neighborhoods, authorize necessary expenditures in accordance with the annual budget;
D. Establish necessary goals, policies and guidelines; and
E. Carry out such other activities and leadership as shall be prescribed by the mayor. (Ord. 1682-90 § 4, 1990.)
