Every person to whom an overnight lodging license shall have been issued under the provisions of this chapter shall at all times keep a record of the arrival and departure of its guests in such a manner that the record will be maintained for at least one year from the date of departure. The record shall include the name, address and phone number of registered guests with corresponding room number for each lodging unit rented, or in the case of corporate, tour or other group bookings, the name, address and phone number of the person responsible for such booking and a rooming list of occupants and their assigned room numbers. Where there is reasonable suspicion of criminal conduct, or as otherwise allowed by law, the record shall be opened to the inspection of law enforcement personnel.
