A. The salary of each council member shall be increased in the same percentage as the annual increase from July to July in the All Urban Consumer Price Index for the Seattle area published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S. Department of Labor, provided that said increase shall not exceed the percentage of annual average salary increase of all city nonunion employees for the same period of time.

B. The salary increase specified in this section shall be given each year on January 1st, beginning January 1, 1994. (Ord. 1785-91 §§ 1, 2, 1991; Ord. 642-79 §§ 1, 2, 1979.)
