All card lock and key-type fuel metering and computing devices shall:

A. Display the price per gallon or price per liter; provided, that if motor fuel is offered for sale by the liter, the price per liter must be clearly displayed on the dispenser directly adjacent to the corresponding price per gallon, with the information appearing in contrasting letters of at least two inches in height;

B. Indicate the amount of fuel delivered during a single transaction;

C. Register the selling price per unit;

D. Register the total selling price for a single transaction;

E. Compute the price per gallon or liter as set forth in National Bureau of Standards Handbook 44. [Order No. 1794, effective May 11, 1983] (Ord. 172-71 § 10.)
